Hello all and Happy New Year.

Just a few reminders as we enter the new year. First, January will be a very busy month around the Club and I wanted to post reminders for all the goings on so you can join us.

Our January General Membership Meeting will be held on the second Monday this month since the first Monday falls on New Year’s Day. The January business meeting will be on January 8 at 7:30pm. All are welcome.

On January 4, the Morse Code class begins at 6:30pm. Our first four classes will be held at the PSOC on Columbus. Classes will continue January 18th, January 25th and February 1st. The final 2 classes will be held at the clubhouse and will be coached, on air CW QSOs with random hams throughout the country. The last two classes will be February 15th and 22nd at 6:30pm at the clubhouse.

On January 13th, TARCFest will be held at the Clubhouse, 7am set up, 8am open. Food, fun and fabulous deals

Our January program will be Monday January 15th at 7:30pm featuring Yaesu corporate representatives visiting our club for the first time to present a program on Yaesu System Fusion, the Yaesu sponsored digital mode. TARC has supported the mode by having a DRX-1 repeater in Fusion mode at 444.750, as well as a Fusion Node (N4TP-ND at 147.570) that can be used for linking to the Fusion system making possible QSOs around the world possible through the Fusion system. This will great program and those in attendance will get Free Pizza and drinks prior to the presentation. Club members throughout the entire WCF are invited.
